Choosing the right location for a date can be a bit stressful. A hotel—but which one? Or would you prefer a different setting? And where should the social date take place?
So many questions, and what’s the right choice?
To start, it’s important to pick a location where you feel comfortable. In this blog, I’ll give you some useful tips on what to consider and suggest a few great locations.
Hotel
A hotel is by far the most common location for a date, and for good reason. A hotel room can create the perfect atmosphere for an intimate and relaxed meeting.
But what should you look for when booking a hotel?
- The Atmosphere: Choose a hotel that appeals to you when you browse their website. Does it reflect the vibe you envision for your date?
- The Location: Is the hotel easily accessible for you? Would you like to have fun activities nearby? If you’re unfamiliar with the hotel, feel free to ask me if I have any experience with it. I’m happy to help you decide.
Private Sauna or Spa
In the Netherlands, there are several private spas where we can relax together.
This type of setting often provides just the right ambiance for an intimate date. We can get to know each other better in the jacuzzi or sauna, which we’ll have all to ourselves.
There’s usually space to enjoy some snacks and drinks in peace.
As the cherry on top, there are often cozy beds where we can continue the physical part of our date.
In short: the perfect place for a date full of relaxation and connection.
Social Date
Before diving deeper into this, I’d love to let you know that I’m great at planning social dates.
As an independent event manager, I truly enjoy organizing our time together while incorporating your preferences.
Of course, if you’d prefer to plan it yourself, that’s totally fine. Here are a few tips:
- Think about the activity you’d like to do together. Consider visiting a museum, taking a city stroll, having dinner, or enjoying a drink.
- Specify the activity. This makes it easier to find the perfect spot.
- Consider the duration of the activity. This helps you determine how long you’d like to book me.

Key Considerations When Choosing a Location
Here are a few important things to keep in mind when selecting a location:
- Discretion: Is the hotel discreet? If you’re traveling with colleagues, for example, book a room for two to avoid unnecessary questions.
- Check with Me: Unsure about a hotel? Feel free to ask me about my experiences with the location.
- Comfort: Think about what the lady prefers, what she’s comfortable with, and what she’s good at. For example, I get sunburned quickly, so a long city walk in the blazing sun at 30°C isn’t ideal for me.
- Practical Details: If you choose a restaurant far from the hotel and you’d like me to wear high heels, please arrange a taxi or Uber back to the hotel.
- Type of Date: Looking for a romantic social date? Opt for a cozy restaurant instead of a crowded place where tables are crammed together.
- Facilities: Planning to spend several hours in the hotel room? Book a room with extra amenities, like a comfortable seating area or a luxurious bathroom.
Conclusion
There’s plenty to think about, but don’t let it overwhelm you.
If you’re unsure or would love to hear my opinion, don’t hesitate to ask—I’m more than happy to help!
And if you’d rather leave the planning to me, I’d be delighted to organize an unforgettable date for us.
